~ My Morning
Will Dawn ~
Oh, the wonder of
the morning
The breaking of the day,
When the sun comes in to greet me
With it's warmest golden rays.
Enclosing all of heaven
Close within my heart,
To lift my soul
with wings
To soar upon the height.
For, I am not tied
to matter,
Nor am I tied to time,
For heavens unending splendor
Shines glory to be mine.
Sure you may see me now
As a body growing old,
But hidden beneath that shadow
Is my heart forever whole,
Held in the might
Of my Father's gentle hand
Ensuring the enduring promise
Of my wondrous dawning
Into everlasting light.
