I have given you a package
Please handle it with care,
'Cause all my hopes & dreams & love
Are packed up inside there!
I've given it away before
But it was always broken
Through betrayals and disloyalties
And harsh words that were spoken.
But this time it seems different
Because I think you really care.
You never handle it roughly
You don't yell at it or swear!
So nourish it with laughter
With love, please daily feed
Fertilize with sunshine
Daily pull the weeds.
It will grow and prosper,
It will bloom far up above.
All you do is tender it
With happiness and love!
