~ Hand
Of God ~
Ribbons of light
welcome in morning
Through the treetops their dance does sway
Mockingbird, gay, without any warning
Singing sweet songs to herald in day
Contented repose lies in dawn's heart
Yawning from the warmth of the sun
Donning gown-of-day, she'll play her part
Ensuring blue skies for summertime fun
Our faithful, Sol, will give it his all
Sunny disposition, that fellow
Hangs in the sky, like a giant ball
Oh so lovely, sky-blue and bright-yellow
Dandelion faeries a 'flutter
Soft whispers of a morning breeze
Wings of flies, some of them 'butter'
Flit to and fro, the roses to tease
God's gentle grace, evidenced all 'round
As sun and sky brighten still more
Beauty above and here, on the ground
More beautiful than the morning before
Thank you, dear God, so much for letting me
Both hear and see your miracles grand
All tell, that You, will not be forgetting me
When my time to go, I'll reach for Your hand
