Hello God,
 It's Me Checking In Again

Hello God, It's me checking in again.
Just wanted to say thank you
For being there today with me
and helping me to get through.

Sometimes I just need a friend
To listen and hear about my day,
So, I come to you God, You're never too busy
to listen to me and hear me pray.

God, when I get sad and lonely,
I know on You I can always call,
You'll help through the hard times,
Help me up when I sometimes fall.

I give thanks each night in prayer,
You're always home, never tell me to 'wait,'
You hold me close when I am afraid
Or when I'm unsure of my earthly fate.

God, I can't always make it through a day,
Sometimes I just can't make it on my own;
I need Your love and understanding
When I sometimes feel all alone.

I often ask You, God, to keep my family
Protected, always safe and sound,
Guide me through each day, each hour,
Give me faith for where I'm bound.

Your number is the only one I can call,
You answer each and every time,
I never get a busy signal or put on hold
And it never costs me one single dime.

So, God, I just wanted to thank you
For listening to me and my sorrow;
It's getting late now, I love you,
and I'll call again tomorrow.

Goodnight God~I was just checking in
To let You know how my day was today,
And that I'm grateful for Your love and patience
and for all the guidance You've sent my way.
