How He Loves
Me ~
The Savior cared
so much for me
He never gave up
His plea
Kept on knocking
at the door of my heart
Waiting and
wanting to set me free
Now in this flesh
I'm living in
I tend to rebel at
times
Against the things
I don't understand
And He wanted to
change my mind
Not only did He
change my mind
When I had it on
the wrong things
He changed my
heart as well
Oh the joy this
change brings
He was very
patient with me
In my lowly and
sinful state
It helped me
surrender to Him
Before it was too
late
I was trying to
give Him my heart
Shut
up as tight as a fist
Then He whispered
to me
"You can serve me
better than this"
I've finally
surrendered to Jesus
I've given all my
heart to Him
I opened wide the
door
And asked Him
"Please do come in"
Now we're walking
together
My sweet Jesus and
me
He orders my steps
each day
I'm willing to let
Him, you see
I want my friends
and loved ones
Please come and
meet Jesus too
He loves you just
as much
He'll do the same
for you
