~ He Will Always Be There ~

When the night falls all around me
And no light of day I see
I can still feel Jesus holding my hand
bringing His sweet peace to me

He promised He'd never leave me alone
God will keep His promise to me
Stay close by me every hour
He wants me to live in victory

Tho' the folks who do not trust Him
Try to bring great doubt to me
I just lift my heart to heaven
Say, I will always follow Thee

Now resting in my Savior
There's nothing I have to fear
He is with me as He promised
No danger can bother me here

In my heart I know
He will never leave me alone
I have trusted Him completely
And in Him my spirit has grown

I am now a seasoned Christian
Walking in the light of the Lord
Tho' I may still be growing
I've learned to always trust His word
