~ His Gifts ~
Through our eyes we can see
everything God has created
He's given us the gift of
sight
Through our eyes we're allowed
to see beautiful colors
He wants us to look toward the
light.
Through our ears we can hear
all sounds
He's given us the gift of
hearing
Through our ears we can hear
him speak
His messages are so endearing.
Through our mouths we can
savor the sweetness
He's given us the gift of
taste
Through our mouths kind words
can be spoken
He wants us to turn to him and
not wait.
Through our nose we can tell
the scent of a flower
He's given us the gift of
smell
Through our nose we can
breathe fresh air
He wants us to live righteous
and well.
Through our skin we can feel
sensations
He's given us the gift of
touch
Through our skin we can feel
the sun above
He wants us to know he loves
us so much.
Five senses he has given us
All he asks is that we believe
in him
Don't let the light he put in
our souls
Ever go out or become dim.
