~ Ah, The Human Condition
~
Ah, the human condition,
With all it's ups and downs...
The happy times, the fantasies,
The giggles and the frowns!
The sleepless nights, the lazy days,
The struggles and the fears...
The plans and schemes, the shattered dreams,
The youthful, fruitful years...
Then, turn a page, it's middle-age,
The lines and wrinkles show...
The hair turns grey, youth fades away,
And older we all grow
It's Medicare, and thinning hair,
The "kids" have children, too...
Takes twice as long, doin' half as much
As we used to do!
But, in the final analysis,
It's certainly worth the strife...
Ah, the human condition...
Oh, what a wonderful life!!!
