If You Feel My Love ~
When I stop in the busyness of my day
And pray,
It is because God says to care for you.
When I take the time,
to drop you a loving line,
It is because of, not one prompt
but a multitude.
If a thought of you pops into my mind
and I smile,
That is because I think of you,
Then as you open up your mail to find
another touch from my heart
You will feel my care anew.
For if you feel my heart reaching
out across the miles,
then that is eternal love for you.
And if I share your joys
and your tears, not just today
but for endless years,
then know such care is true.
