I never dreamed that heaven could
be such a beautiful place.
Here there is peace and love and yet,
my memories did not go away.

I still see your beautiful smile,
the way you would toss your hair.
I remember holding you close
to tell you how much I cared.

This is what I want you to know,
I’m standing right by your side,
heaven is just across the veil;
you can’t see with earthly eyes.

So when you are lonely and blue,
feel all alone in this place,
just stop and feel the gentle breeze
as I lovingly touch your sweet face.
