Little broken bodies
Little eyes that weep
Little hands to hide behind
While they’re being beat
This is not how life should be
For Children we were given
For they have feelings deep inside
Little lives should be worth
living
All they have seen is much abuse
No! This was not Gods plan
They're just frightened little
babies
Too small to make a stand
A child should never have to beg
For the love of Mom, and Dad
Children should be held with care
Not forced to live a life so sad
How can you look into those eyes?
How can you not know?
That even though you’ve hurt them
Their little hearts still love you
so
Don’t be the hand that rocks the
cradle
Be their every dream come true
The problem doesn’t lie with them
The problem lies with you
There is a way to beat this
I know where you can start
Get down on bended knee
Ask God into your heart
Ask Him to forgive you
For all the harm you’ve done
To this child He gave to you
Then your battle will be won
God gave to you this blessing
So handle this child with care
This little one is your best
friend
With a lot of love to share
