~ I Prayed For You Today ~

I prayed for you today,
as dawn crept across the land...
and I know that God will answer,
tho we might not understand.

I prayed He'll gently guide you,
and you'll always open up your heart,
to hear His gentle whispers,
and the love that He imparts.

I asked gentle peace for you,
that can reside within your heart,
God left His Holy Spirit,
the gift that comforts and imparts.

I prayed for you this morning,
as the dew dried on the land...
May your days be gently guided
by God's Almighty Hand!
