~ I Whispered Your Name In Prayer ~

Today I whispered your name in prayer
For God to keep you in His gentle care

Because I really love you so
When you have a need, to God I go

I lay your needs at His feet
Right there in front of the mercy seat

He listens then to my earnest prayer
With Him, the answer is waiting there

Then I thank Him now because He cares
And with tender mercy, He answers prayers
