~ Journey On The
Rail ~
Oh to travel on the
railroad
To climb aboard the
train,
With our Savior
as the driver
On our way
through sun and
rain.
Delighting in a
view superb
And rich supplies,
all of the best,
We can relax with
every need
provided
For the driver's
done the rest.
Sometimes slowly
chugging upward
With great mountains
in our way,
In the struggle
climbing to the peak
God stokes the fire
without delay.
Then, as we rejoice
in pure delight
Streaming down the
other side,
We laugh in the joy
of purest bliss
So glad for the
wondrous ride.
Uh oh, suddenly
there comes a turn
As a valley slows
the pace,
The railroad twists
into a tunnel
And we long for
another sunny place.
But, on the
tracks the train
maneuvers
Never adrift, to
swerve all fancy
free,
For our loving
Father is at the
controls
And homeward bound
is guaranteed.

~Quote~
We do not
understand the
intricate pattern
of the stars in
their course,
but we know that
He who created
them does,
and that just as
surely
as He guides them,
He is charting a
safe course for
us.
