Kingdom of Sand ~
I thought I had my life all planned,
A course so carefully made,
Dreams and wishes, on command,
I set off, unafraid.
But my castles were all made on sand,
My palace, on fading dreams,
And now I seek a rugged land,
A fortress with strong beams.
For Providence blows a mighty wind
And Fate brings in the tide,
And like a child who's disciplined,
Sometimes I want to hide.
Yet only Time will tell what's true,
Of rocks and dreams and sea,
Yes, only Time can lead me to…
Just who there is in me.
