~ Kitty's First Halloween ~
You should have seen me
just the other day
When a big Halloween cat
came strutting my way
I arched up my back
then flexed my sharp claws
I started strutting and hissing
You know, just because
I wanted him to see me
and to know I'm pretty bad
I might give him a fight,
like he has never had
He kept right on moving
slowly toward me
Then I screeched out
'This is my terr-i-tor-y'
He looked me in the eye
Then bellowed out, 'says who?'
'Put your mitts up son,
let's see what you can do?'
The next thing I knew
He smacked me in the face
I saw my fur go flying
all over the place
He kicked me and clawed me
and tossed me all around
The next thing I knew
I was flat on the ground
Then he said 'look here now Kitty,
you think you're so mean,
Do a little growing up,
Then try again, next Halloween'
