~Lady Butterfly~
Mother Nature waved her magic wand
and spun a gown for thee
Bordered it with gold and jewels
for all the world to see
She opened up the flowers
and sprinkled them with dew
And sweetened up the nectar
and said 'it's all for you'
'Go fly through the country
alight on any spray
you need no chart or compass
you'll never lose your way.'
'So fly Lady Butterfly
fly and be free,
Show off your gown of gold
for all the world to see'
'Spread your beauty all around,
put on a fashion show
Then lift your wings and fly away
We'll watch you as you go.'
