~  Look For The Silver Lining ~

Life has a silver lining,
If you look, you will find it
Blue skies above, the beautiful rainbow I love
A song from a nightingale, a woodpeckers steady knock
The pine trees with snow on the branch at dawn
An angel from Heaven calling
"Glory, The King is born".

Even in suffering, if you look,
You will find the silver lining,
I watch the snow outside my porch,
I sit in my grandfather's rocking chair
I can feel his spirit kiss the air.

I remember my mother looking out the window
As we took a sleigh ride in the past
Now that has all gone away...
I think of my new friend, I am proud to know
Beautiful poets take me into their hearts for always,
I am happy I will be remembered
I feel it in my heart and soul today.

God gave me wisdom
He gave me the world I see
It is no longer a mystery to me
The moon is shining,
I will be remembered for the words I write
Thank you God,
For letting me see my silver lining tonight.
