When your love came to me
It was the first time I could really see
Your love was stronger than I
I had wished and I had dreamed
Or so it seemed
For I knew nothing at all
When I felt your hand
Though we were country's apart
I could look in your eyes
Even though you were not there
My eyes held you, close to my heart
Your voice so tender
With so much that I miss
How could I resist,
Your love was much stronger than I
But now, when you write me or I write you
You bring me to my feet
I never knew someone could love as I do
Or could love this deep
I will wait for you my love
Until there are no more stars in the sky
I kiss you with my heart and soul
and never will I say good-bye
You are the one who I believe
In the light of day or even in the dark
Your love will be with me forever,
come what may
You cared for me right from the start.~*~
