~ Master of the Loom ~

A selvage is started before we are born,
A tight band of thread, compact and unworn.
Thread from His hand is fixed strong and taut,
While yarn from our will can easily knot.

The Master is weaving on His mighty loom,
A beautiful clothe begun in the womb.
Threads from the fiber and Spirit of grace
Flow from the bobbin in His working place.

Trust in His grip to master the shuttle,
Designed in His will is a pattern so subtle…
Through shedding and picking and tapping the yarn,
A fabric comes forth with beauty and charm.

Colors and patterns can change at His will,
To make His beloved more beautiful still.
A tapestry woven, distinct… yet undone…
With threads from each day,
Spun one by one…
