~ The Master Painter ~
Oh those blue skies up above
with fluffy white clouds in them
What a wonder to watch
As they float, swirl and spin
The meadows are so green and lovely
With little brooks rippling thru
Oh what a beautiful picture
God's painted for me and you
It's as if he took a giant canvas
And a big brush or two
Then blended in those colors
to make such a beautiful hue
He added a great oak tree
Put plenty of flowers there
Then took his big paint brush
and just painted everywhere
He is the kind gentle shepherd
And the Master painter too
So he put a few lambs in the meadow
to remind him of me and you
He then took his brush and canvas
and laid them on the shelf
Viewed this painting with pleasure
He's done it all by himself
