May I Have A White Christmas ~
As
I look around on Christmas Eve
I see the store windows, I peer in happily
While people go to and fro, all in a rush
Tall Christmas trees, waiting to be purchased
Children skating on the ice
What a beautiful sight.
May I Dear Jesus, on your birthday
Have a white Christmas, I pray
Let me see the snow queen
Just for this day
Let me be Clara, bring the nutcracker to me
The magic of wonder, which God meant to be
I hear music of great composers
Alive once again
The snow starts to fall
On my hair and my clothes
But now I know
Jesus, gave His Christmas gift
A gift of love after all
To help those who lose hope
and don't smile anymore
May this Christmas be white, may all hear from
afar
Remember with gladness and find love in their
heart.
