The color of the world
All blanketed by white,
The skies of blue obscured
Overtaken by the darkest night.
A heart once beating warm
Now shudders in the cold,
The flaming fire burnt down
To embers of black coal.
What
miracle of love
Could
melt this heart of stone,
What
tenderness reach inside
Return the warmth of home.
There must be a glimmer of hope
A tiny sparkle somewhere,
A tender touch, a smile of such
Someone to care, out there.....
Empty hearts tired of being
barren
Need to feel again,
Dissolve the heart with
healing tears
To release the pain.
Lead now, to drink long from
Your stream
To see the sunshine after rain,
Light the flicker down in the
soul
With Your burning flame.
Is that Your love I hear
calling out my name...
