Oh what a joy to tell you
I've been blessed again
The most wonderful of all
My very cherished Friend.

I have so many friends
Who mean a lot to me
But the one I speak of now
Is very different, you see.

There's a difference
'bout my new found friend
That brings me so much joy
Will be a true one to the end.

I could tell it from the start
What a special Prize they'd be
We have so much in common
This dear friend I share with thee.

There are many friends who
touch our lives and then are gone
But the ones who last forever
Are the ones we depend upon.

To be there when we need them
In every way they can
