~ My Grateful List ~
 

If I could make a list,
of things I'm thankful for,
it would be short and sweet,
a few words, and nothing more.



My list would start with love,
the kind that never ends....
the unconditional sort,
for family and for friends.



Second, would be compassion,
the forgiving kind,
to judge other people
with my heart, and not my mind.



Finally, would be silence,
and the simple peace within...
and knowing I have the power
to fill it to the brim.



Now, my list is complete,
I hope that one's not missed,
these are the things I'm thankful for,
and this is my grateful list!
