~ My Lateral Ear ~
I bend to listen, oh yes I do
You may think it's unimaginable
unperceivable for me to even know
But, I hear with twist exceptional
Even murmurs very low
I may appear a bit unreachable
And a little longitudinal
unadaptable to be 'there'
But, I'm here in all that's meaningful
Yes, I will stop to care
I may seem quite unbelievable
Simply too far to be perceptible
or a communicable friend
But, as it's oh, so very needful
My loving ear will always bend
