There's some cuties looking on
While we give it all we've got,
And to go where we'd like
We'll give, until we drop.
Yet, even if we try real hard
There's times we just can't get it in,
Though we do our very best
From a heart of love within.
But, do we miss the mark
Or could it be, some don't understand,
Our spontaneous act of affection
The loving that we plan.
Thus, with a sigh, after we try,
To mend it if we can,
We begin to realize we can't connect
With the soul of every man.
