I do try at
times, really I
do
To get myself
all set-up,
Organized and
tidy
But I have this
mischief in the
way
My secret little
pup.
Just when I
think I may be
on track
With myself all
immaculate,
Some other
tricky little
thing
Will get me all
unraveled...
But...
Might life be
more fun
With a secret
little pup.
For I sort of
like having him
around
To tickle and to
tease,
Sneaking up
behind with a
cute surprise
Waking me out of
my reverie
My funny bone to
tease.
If the day was
all predictably
smooth
I might get far
too chuffed,
Without those
funny quirks
Those slip ups
that make me
grin,
The unbeknown
Of my secret
little pup.
