~ Never More Alone ~

They say that I am special
Yet, can it be true that I am not alone,
Drifting forlorn in a fathomless drift
Never more all on my own.

That in You is found everything I've lost
So Lord, help me then to break through,
Help me find a way to trust Your heart
For I know deep down You're true.

But, how hard can that be to do
Just this once, please speak to me,
This one time in my lifetime
Break the chains and set me free.

Let me see You in the winter's night
Melt this emptiness within me,
Explode today a moment of truth
Reveal to me Your dream.

I don't want You to be
Just in passing, a once in a lifetime
For tomorrow to find may not come
Right now I need You to be forever mine.

Rainbow shine, Your color to know
All Your promises I want as my own,
Please fill me with Yourself
So I may not feel, oh so alone.
