Matter Where You Are ~
A special friend may
seem hard to find
But, are surely more than beautiful enough
When given as God's very best
From His tender heart of love
A special friend may be one of a kind
But, how they care in so many varied ways
As they join you on life's pathway
To walk with you each day
A special friend may possess a multitude of
talents
But, to you, their most valuable is given
away
In joy and laughter, fun and tears
And all they gladly say
A special friend may appear as rare as gold
But, when they come, they truly shine
God gave me such a wondrous friend
When He made you mine
A special friend may feel near at times
But, can also seem to be too far...
I thank God no matter where you are
We're always close in heart
