~ NOT FAR TO CHRISTMAS ~

It is not too far to Christmas
When miracles come true
We'll watch the skaters fly on wings
And gaze in brightly lit stores
At Gifts that Santa Claus will bring

The days and nights are passing quickly
As snow falls softly to the ground
We dream of riding in a sleigh
In a wonderland of Christmas sound

Everywhere we hear the Christmas songs
While in windows little eyes wait for Santa
to land on eaves, with toys that walk and talk
To make a magic Christmas Eve

The tallest tree is in the town
Aglow with color, with a train tooting around
It is not far from Christmas, never let it fade
Can we believe, we are making snowmen
The best we've ever made

When we come home we smell the cookies
The best we ever had
It may not be far to Christmas
Yet one thing we have found
If we have it in our heart
Then we have it all year round
