How
many things I own
When
life has blessed me richly
I feel so all alone
I have a house that's lovely
A fancy car I drive
And jewelry of plenty
Yet, I
feel so deprived
I was lucky when God made me
For
beauty I possess
Admirers often tell me
So why
am I depressed
It feels like something's missing
Whatever could it be
That keeps me from the happiness
Somewhere inside of me
I heard about a story
Written very long ago
That
changed my life forever
My
answer now I know
The story is from the bible
And
all of it is true
God
gave His son who paid the price
For the sins of me and you
God did this so we all could have
A chance to truly be
A
child who earns through prayer
and faith
his love eternally
Thank You God for showing me
The
beauty of your plan
Of
what you have in store for me
You
made me understand
That nothing in this world compares
Or
ever could fulfill
The
need you put in all of us
To
submit to your will
Because only God knows how to give
The
love that fills my heart
With
hope and peace and happiness
That's lost when we are apart
So please don't ever leave me lord

didn't keep you in my life
