~ Only Jesus And I ~
I've been thru some storms
With deep waters surrounding
Oh how I've prayed and I've cried
Nobody knows the pain I have suffered
Only Jesus and I
I am struggling on
To climb another mountain
But I'm still in a desert so dry
I know He is with me and I must keep going
Only Jesus and I
There have been times
Of my souls sweet refreshing
In valleys where cool water runs by
There I was filled with faith by His Spirit
Talking: My Jesus and I
At times in the valley
In these moments of refreshing
My Lord gave me some reasons why
I had to go thru the hurts and the heartaches
In quiet times: My Jesus and I
He showed me the times
That He miraculously kept me
When the Devil had designs I should die
He showed me the angels He sent to help me
A Vision: Jesus and I
On the potters wheel now
I am still turning
Becoming a vessel on whom He can rely
That's why I struggled so long with all of my burdens
Nobody knew, but Jesus and I
