October Thirty First ~
If Jesus is in our house
On October thirty first
Let's be sure He's really comfy
To smile and easily converse
Shall we welcome Him so warmly
To join in any fun
Enjoying only light and laughter
In everything that's done
We'll want Him to come and bless us
And really feel at home
Just as if He was in heaven
So He won't feel all alone
'Cause if He's close here with us
In every visit, every place
Then He'll love the pretty decorations
And see beauty on each face
If heaven's life is right inside us
Then all we make down here
Will be just the same as there
Forsaking every fear
If at Halloween and every day
Jesus is number One
Then His smile will be upon us
For we sure need His love
