~ Our Best Blessing ~
Let me tell you a story so sweet
That happened so long ago
God sent his little boy
To earth, His love to show
Everyday I thank Him
For those special kinds of gifts
Darling little boys and girls
To moms and dads He gives
Excitement fills my heart
When I remember that day
He gave you to us
And shared His love that way
Jesus loves the little children
Called them, 'come to Him'
Then chose to place them in our homes
He said, 'now you must care for them'
But it's not hard to love you dear
You are so sweet and good
We'll keep you in our loving care
But then, God knew we would
His little Son was precious
No greater Gift was given
Than that little babe
He sent straight from heaven!
He knows how much it means
To be a mom and dad
So this is how He blesses us
You're the best blessing, we have ever had
