I want to have a picnic
I want to go with you
Let's pack a basket full of food
Throw in a blanket too
We'll find a quiet spot
Beneath some shady trees
Spread the blanket, eat our food
As pretty as you please
We'll spend all day together
Enjoying our grand lunch
Regardless of the weather
I cannot wait to munch . . .
And to share the day with you
My friend, so sweet and kind
You are such blessing, true
No one finer could I find
