A rich blessing on your
life as you walk
in the quietness of
creation,
listening for the solitude
of lasting beauty in the
stillness.
The Source of wisdom to hold you safe
through the cold blast of winter,
in the cleft of His awesome mountain of
refuge,
hovering over every footstep
on the journey of life.
The True light to rise
forth and shatter the darkness
and shine continually
within,
as a guiding fire
to draw a stranger into
the warmth of eternity.
The fragrant
knowledge of the Sovereign Lord to permeate
your heart
and overflow
in triumphal procession
inspiring all who cross
your path.
Refreshing showers of
the Righteous One's perfect love
to embrace and spring up
as living water
to cleanse your soul clean
in entirety
until everlasting day.
The wind of God's Spirit,
to blow away all that is useless and
unnecessary
for eternal life,
so your life will reflect His
loveliness,
as clear as crystal.
The wonder of the Creator,
as displayed in His mighty universe
to overwhelm the magnitude
of life's suffering,
so you will shine like a star in the
universe
as you hold out the Word of life and
light
in this present generation.
The Prince of peace
to fill you with every spiritual blessing
and seat you in the
heavenly realms,
while being made pure
in His sacrifice.
The power of the
everlasting Father to lift you on eagles
wings,
for renewal in His
strength
to run and not grow weary
to walk and not despair.
The soft whispers of
kindness and joy
in the alighting of a
little bird,
to bless your soul
with personal messages of
hope
from the throne of God.

I want to know if you can
see beauty even when it is not pretty every
day,
and if you can source your life from God's
presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure,
yours and mine,
and still stand on the edge of a lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
"Yes!"
It doesn't interest me to know where you
live or how much money you have.
I want to know if
you can get up after the night of grief and
despair,
weary and bruised to the bone,
and do what needs to be done for the
children.
It doesn't interest me where or what or with
whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the
inside when all else falls away.
