And the morning ceases
Make it not in vain
That we have made our creases.
Make life the fabric
That wraps around yourself
Stitch it when it tears
Don’t keep it on a shelf.
Add some color to your scene
A pattern here and there
Make sure your life’s quilt
When done, shows a lot of wear.
Know that this blanket
Will see some cold nights
But when you embrace it
Only warmth is in sight.
Never take view over function.
But function is not enough.
Make your blanket beautiful
