If
life
took
from
me
the
peace
That
is
needed
in
my
heart,
What
would
it
be
replaced
with
To
fall
upon
my
path.
If
life
took
away
the
innocence
I
knew
as
a
little
girl,
What
shall
dwell
inside
me
now
Given
by
the
world.
If
the
sunshine
left
the
sky
And
the
skies
all
turned
to
grey,
Is
there
somewhere
I
could
go
To
escape
the
chilling
rain.
If
there
are
no
stars
to
count
For
I
cannot
lift
my
eye,
Will life
bring
me only
sadness
Even
in
the
morning
light.
Then
all
that's
left are
miracles
As I
cannot
struggle
anymore,
Is
there
a
chance all
that
was
taken
Was
not the
real
at
all.
What
if I
search
elsewhere
Where
I
haven't
been
before,
Then
will
I
find a
serene
garden
glade
That
matters
all
the
more.
Could
there
be a
reality
Beyond
this
one
I
see
Where
a
sure
peace
and
joy
is
found
And
where
my
soul
is
free.
Could
I
then
begin
to
thank
the
Lord
For
everything
life
took,
So
that
I
would have
to
find
new
sight
To
take
another
look.
"Whether
you
turn
to
the
right
or
to
the
left,
your
ears
will
hear
a
voice
behind
you,
saying;
"This
is
the
way...walk
in
it"
