~ Serenity Prayer ~
When my heart is overwhelmed
And feeling full of fear,
When I don't know where to
turn
For it seems no one is
near.
Oh Lord, come to me in Your
stillness
Please let me hold Your
hand,
There is much I'd like to
know
Please help me understand.
I need Your peace, this very
moment
A miracle to descend,
A quietness, an awareness
Lord I need You, to be my
friend.
Only You are the One, who is
able
Embrace me with Your soul,
Carry me in Your arms
Lift my spirit above it all.
Then my feet will run, swift
as the deer
And Your light will guide my
path,
In the gentleness of Your love
I will be held within Your
heart.
God's love is
ever present...
