Puppies and kittens and babies-on-the-way
Snowflakes and mittens and toys on Santa's sleigh
Stardust spread over a sky of velvet blue
These are some things that I want to share with you

Raindrops and rainbows and clouds up in the sky
Magic, above us, that makes me wonder why
Sunrises, sunsets are both a mystery too
These are some things that I want to share with you

Milkshakes and cupcakes and other things so sweet
A trilling song bird can, also, be a treat
Fireflies you think might not shine, but always do
These are some things that I want to share with you

Sounds -- so, so special -- as when a baby laughs
Stripes upon zebras; long necks upon giraffes
Hot dogs and hopscotch; a photograph or two
These are some things that I want to share with you

Time keeps on ticking; I'm licking at my lips
For more bright words and happy, little quips
I've said enough -- yes -- now, I think I'm through
These are some things that I want to share with you
