~ Simple Man ~
He was but a simple Man,
Who worked carving
wood with His hand.
A man of very humble grace,
With God's light shining
through His face.
He traveled not far from
His place of birth,
But went so far upon this
earth.
His teachings were great,
His followers many.
His powers are unlimited;
His miracles plenty.
From humble origins He has
come,
My blessed Savior to lead
me home.
The mighty have feared Him,
the great have cried.
The poorest have loved Him,
stood by His side.
His name is Emanuel,
Savior, King.
He is my Redeemer, My
Everything.
He has led me from sin and
despair.
He's waiting in Heaven to
greet me there.
You are invited with us to
come go along
To His wonderful mansion,
His Eternal Home.
So come join his
Kingdom, come play in His band.
Come reside in City of the
Holy Land!
Come, sing Hallelujah, pick
up the chorus
Join in the choir, lift up
your voice!
Give wondrous praises to
this Humble Man.
Let's all go to worship
Him in the Holiest of Lands!
