Softly, oh so softly
Sleepy time moon
beams dance
A loving sweetness
floating
Into the starry
night,
Sifting all the
worries of the day
To carry them far
away.
For as we give to
Jesus all our fears
He bids them out of
sight
To forget, as we
shall too,
For His heavenly joy
will tumble down
To settle such a
gentle peace
Nestling in our
heart.
A beary warm
good night hug I
send
To my beary sleepy
friend.
