I love you little Snowbird
I wonder where you've been
You're gone in spring and summer
Winter brings you back again

Your lovely crimson coat aflame
Contrasting with the snow
You spread some beauty all around
Every where you go

I kept your little house for you
Hanging in the tree
And filled the feeder up with seeds
So you'll spend some time with me

You are somewhat mysterious
The way you follow the snow
When most of all my feathered friends
Look for sunshine, where they go

So welcome back my little friend
Your family and your mate
You're right on time again this year
you're never, ever late
