~ A Special Touch ~
A little girl sent me a gift
I received it in the post,
My heart was all so touched
God knew my need the most.
She thanked me for my love
And said she loved me so,
That I was such a special friend
What a joy to know.
Her loving gift was made by hand
To show me all her care,
I made it by myself, she said
My love I want to share.
How like my lovely Jesus
To know before today,
That I would need a special touch
So sent her love my way.
Thus I will keep that precious gift
Tucked in my heart all snug,
In memory of an angel girl
Who sent to me her love.
