Lock up the
mountain cabin
Bid it a fond goodbye,
Then mourn the holiday gone
And how each day was occupied.
For summer season is all done
No more swimming at the lake,
Fill the freezer with sliced bread
Now there's sandwiches to make.
Cover all those books
And label all the pens,
Go buy new shoes and clothes
But, not the latest trends.
Get out the rusty bicycle
The lunch box and the flask,
Iron all the uniforms
Then give the prep a bit of heart.
Because it's time to get excited
For school days with friends,
Since another adventure always starts
Just when the other ends.
Hear the bells so loudly pealing
Decreeing vacation fun is past,
There's no time to lose to make the grade
For teachers now have class.

~Quote~
.... humility is the lesson,
life is the classroom,
all people are my teachers,
and class is never over.
