It's tea time, oh
dear friend of mine,
let's sit a spell and chat,
we'll talk of days gone by before,
and ponder this and that.
Or, we can sit in solitude,
as quiet as a mouse,
just sip our tea so silently,
inside each other's house!
It really doesn't matter,
the content of what's said......
It's the quiet knowledge that we are friends
that matters most instead.
So, it's tea time here inside my heart,
whether we're near or far apart...
as you take a break in time,
you sip yours and I'll sip mine...
this easy friendship that we share
can't be purchased anywhere!!!
