Thank you Lord, for friends so true...
and the blessings you send my way...
Thank you for the gentle guidance
you give to me each day.

Thank you Lord, for loving me,
it's beyond my understanding,
Thank you for the strength you give
when the world gets too demanding.

Thank you Lord, for the uplifting way
you put friendships in our path,
For we are all brothers and sisters
and someday we'll be together at last.

Thank you Lord, for each heartbeat,
I know each one's a gift,
And help me Lord to use for you
each one for others to uplift.

Thank you Lord for family...
thank you too, for my pets...
The lessons that I've gained from them
I won't soon forget.

Bless each one that reads these lines,
keep your hand on all...
Thank you for always being there
to catch us when we fall.

Thank you Lord, for your sacrifice
for such a lowly one as I...
For without you interceding,
we could never live on high.

Thank you Lord, for words from you
that I scratch across these pages...
May they touch the hearts of others,
to carry you with them thru ages.
