~ The
Only One
~
Stranded
in such
a rain
storm
Another
tire had
gone
flat
No one
she
could
call for
help
Funds,
she
surely
did lack
This is
just my
hopeless
luck
Lord
Broke
down
again in
awful
weather
She
hears a
rumble
in the
distance
It’s a
bearded
man in
black
leather
Oh Dear
God,
help me
please
His arms
are the
size of
small
trees
He
recognized
her
frightened
stare
Pop the
trunk
maam,
gotta
get your
spare
You sit
tight
maam,
keep
yourself
dry
I’ll
have her
fixed in
just a
jiffy
God
surely
approves
of a
cheerful
giver
In His
eyes, I
wanna
look
spiffy
She sat
motionless,
warm and
dry
He
worked
steady
in that
rain
Earlier
thoughts
would
bring a
tear
In her
heart
she
could
feel His
pain
There ya
go maam,
you’re
all done
Let me
please
pay you
a small
sum
No maam,
it
really
was my
pleasure
On down
the
road,
I’ll get
my
treasure
He rode
away
wet,
with a
smile
With her
prayers,
she sat
for
awhile
Thank
You Lord
for
hearing
my cry
Thank
You
Jesus
for
opening
my eyes
I don’t
know
what I
would
have
done
In this
downpour,
he was
the only
one…
