Til' the morrow arrives
Singing its new song
to welcome in the dawn
Will this Day be one of sunshine,
joy and laughter ,
or one of grey skies, tears and sorrows
Will the canvas of the sky be painted
all white and blue
Or shall it be one of grey and black
streaked hues
No matter, we are present to admire this day,
whatever it may bring our way
With intellect and faith
we are graced and blessed
and equipped with strength
to handle the rest
We can thank our loving heavenly creator ,
this day we will not miss
We are here to share it
with our families and friends
the ones we cherish and hold most dear
For this day , sunshiny and bright
or grey and gloomy
To our creator , we do give thee thanks.
